We believe architecture should connect design excellence, environmental responsibility, and human experience.
T.K. Felix Wong Studio is a research-driven design practice exploring architecture, sustainability, urban systems, and cultural context through curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What We Stand For
Design with Purpose
Every project should solve a real problem rather than simply create visual impact.
Sustainability as Design
Environmental performance should shape design decisions from the beginning, not be added afterward.
Curiosity Through Research
Research, experimentation, and critical thinking drive innovation.
Craft and Clarity
We value clear communication, thoughtful detailing, and rigorous execution.
Collaboration Across Disciplines
Architecture is strongest when architects, engineers, planners, artists, and communities work together.
Lifelong Learning
We embrace continuous learning through practice, research, teaching, competitions, and industry engagement.

Sustainability Commitment
T.K. Felix Wong Studio treats sustainability as a design constraint embedded in every decision, not a certification goal applied at the end of a project.
We approach environmental responsibility as a continuous negotiation between carbon, comfort, material systems, and long-term use.

Our work prioritises:
- Reducing operational and embodied carbon through early-stage design decisions
- Designing for adaptability, reuse, and extended building lifecycles
- Improving indoor environmental quality as a core spatial driver
- Balancing environmental performance with spatial and cultural value
- Embedding resilience as a response to changing climate conditions

Rather than treating sustainability as compliance, we use it as a framework for shaping form, structure, and material logic.
Our design thinking is informed by professional practice and research across sustainability frameworks, including:
LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, SITES AP, and BREEAM methodologies.
Sustainability, for us, is not a theme. It is the baseline condition of design intelligence.

Research & Innovation
At T.K. Felix Wong Studio, research is not treated as a parallel activity to design, but as the mechanism through which design decisions are formed and tested.
We work through a continuous feedback loop between analysis, experimentation, and architectural proposal, where ideas are validated through environmental, spatial, and material reasoning.

Our research spans multiple scales of inquiry:
environmental performance and building systems
urban density and spatial organisation
material behaviour and construction logic
sustainability frameworks and certification methodologies
computational tools and performance simulation
emerging digital workflows, including AI-assisted design exploration

Rather than applying research retrospectively, we integrate it from the earliest stages of design development, allowing evidence and speculation to operate together.
This approach is informed by ongoing academic and professional engagement, including dissertation research on sustainability frameworks and urban density, as well as participation in design competitions and environmental analysis workflows.
Research is used to reduce guesswork and increase the precision of architectural intent.

Community & Knowledge Sharing
T.K. Felix Wong Studio sees architectural knowledge as something that should circulate beyond studios, universities, and professional boundaries.
We actively engage in mentoring, critique, and knowledge exchange as part of our broader design practice.

This includes:
- Portfolio reviews and informal design feedback sessions
- Mentoring and guidance for emerging designers
- Participation in professional committees and sustainability-related working groups
- Contributions to educational and research-focused initiatives

We also develop open platforms for discussion and exchange, including the ArchiPortfolioReview Reddit community, where students and emerging architects can share work, receive feedback, and engage in constructive critique.
Alongside this, we maintain the T.K. Felix Wong Studio Journal, an open publication exploring architectural research, sustainability, and design thinking through ongoing essays, project reflections, and experimental studies.

Looking Forward
T.K. Felix Wong Studio focuses on the evolving relationship between architecture, environment, and society.
Our work is oriented toward long-term questions:
how buildings adapt to climate change, how cities respond to increasing density, and how emerging technologies reshape the way space is designed, analysed, and built.
Rather than predicting a fixed future, we are interested in developing design approaches that remain adaptable under changing environmental, cultural, and technical conditions.
We aim to create architecture that is considered, resilient, and grounded in clear design reasoning, contributing meaningfully to both immediate context and long-term use.
